HOW MUCH IS THE MOON?

(c) Niclas Weber
This album contains many stories. It’s like a diary that was kept for years, detailing encounters, decisions, thoughts and difficult truths. It was also made with some of my closest friends and is therefore not just the product of my own brain, but a thing made of love and trust.
I’ve been writing songs since I was young, and it’s been a slow journey towards sharing them, but I’m finally happy they get to see the light of day.
Made over several years, we added to and refined the album each time I was back in Melbourne, in James' studio in beautiful Warrandyte. You might even hear some subtle cameos from the native wildlife.
Featuring James Gilligan, David Helm, Jan Philipp, Louisa Rankin and Joe Talia.
The songs from the album were also performed together with the EOS Chamber Orchestra as part of the 2025 Monheim Triennale, where Shannon was an invited artist.
