Day 1 - Konstanz to Lindau - 50km

In the Staad district of Constance you take the ferry to Meersburg and start with a small cruise across Lake Constance. Although you use a car ferry, the view of the historic upper town of Meersburg, the Alpine panorama and the view across the water to the island of Mainau and the hinterland is an enjoyable start.

Arriving in Meersburg, it is worth taking some time to visit the medieval old town. Then you roll over the wine and holiday resorts of Hagnau and Immenstaad to Friedrichshafen – the city of zeppelins.

Not only technology fans should consider a visit to the Zeppelin Museum. After Friedrichshafen, the Lake Constance cycle path takes you through a nature reserve to Eriskirch and on through the beautiful, quiet holiday resorts of Langenargen, Kressbronn and Wasserburg. With a view of the Swiss Alps, your bike tour takes you through meadow orchards to the island town of Lindau.

Day 2 - Lindau to Arbon - 50km

After Lindau you pass the border to Austria. You will soon reach Bregenz. At the weekend there is a lot of traffic on the cycle path into Bregenz - the Lake Constance cycle path leads through a quasi-open-air pool.

The state capital of Vorarlberg exudes a very special charm. In addition to the famous lake stage for the festival and the long lake promenade, the ascent to Bregenz's historic old town, is also worthwhile. At Hard you cross the Rhine and later the Swiss border. You cycle comfortably via Rorschach to the old Roman town of Arbon, where you will spend the night by the lake today.

Day 3 - Arbon to Konstanz - 35km

From Arbon onwards, the cycle path mostly runs parallel to the lake shore. Passing fruit orchards, there is always the opportunity to take a swim break and enjoy a cup of delicious Swiss coffee, for example. In Kreuzlingen you cross the national border again and leave Switzerland behind. At the starting point in Constance you can stroll through the lively old town, admire the harbor and the famous Imperia statue.

Day 4 - Train to wherever!
